[Update: 7-28-2024 — We must sound like walking disasters lately. Our garbage disposal gave up the ghost. Water just pours right out the bottom. One of our plumbers is coming to check it out tomorrow. We’ll have to replace it, of course. The garbage disposal came with the house when we bought it new in 2011, and nothing is built to last more than a few years anymore. I guess thirteen years is about normal for an appliance like that.
7-30-2024 — We can grind food in our sink again, but our bank account has also dropped a bit. That’s likely to continue. I’ve had reps from two fencing companies out to look at our outward-leaning back fence. I don’t have estimates for fixing it yet, but they will be sizable, I’m sure. And I have an appointment with a surgeon next week to discuss fixing my right hand. The fun never stops. 😊]
